As Fishery Officer for Crystal Palace Angling Association I have been working each year for last five years with Tom at Priory Fishery, stocking our lake in Crystal Palace Park. We have stocked Carp, Crucians, Tench, Bream and Skimmers. The fish and the service we have had with Priory is second to none. The fish are the absolute best quality and have all thrived. Priory Fishery have provided Taverham Mill with some beautiful Carp and Tench over the years. They have flourished within our lakes. Here at Llyn y Gors fisheries, we have been using Priory Fishery for the majority of our restocking programme starting in early 2016 when we took over the fishery. In our experience all the fish we have received from Tom and Jez have been absolutely stunning, healthy specimens which have adapted well to our water and have grown rapidly. We have had Priory Carp grow from 6lb to over 14lb in little over a year and we will have no hesitation in continuing to use Priory for our future stock.

When we took over at Alvechurch Fisheries back in 2009, we looked for a good supplier to stock our current lakes and future projects.

After using various suppliers we decided on using Priory Fishery and can honestly say we never looked back. Tom and Jez have been a huge part in making our Fishery very successful, offering helpful advice and supplying quality hard fighting fish, which we are known for.

After consulting with Tom to determine stocking density, Priory Fishery supplied us with 100 x 8″ to 10″ Tench in early 2016. On delivery Tom insisted that all of the fish were inspected before release, the Tench were stunning and in excellent condition. The Tench have at minimum doubled in size and the fisherman comment on how well proportioned the fish are as well as how hard they fight. Priory Fishery also supply my feed pellet in bulk which is really convenient for our small fishery. I would like to add that Tom and Jez are always more than happy to give advice on stocking fish and subsequent fish welfare.

After being let down by other fish suppliers in the past I was recommended to use Priory Fishery from Viv Shears who we have worked very close with over the past 8-10 years. In 2017 I placed my first order with Priory which consisted of:

1000 Bream 10-12”
300 Crucian Carp 10”+
50 Tench 1lb+

When they turned up they were superb and more than I expected. The lakes have fished amazing this year. I’ve just placed another order with Tom for this coming winter and I know I will not be disappointed.

We have been purchasing all our coarse fish from Tom & Jez at Priory Fishery for the last 10 years. They always deliver on time and the fish are always in TOP condition.

Last year we decided to purchase their larger Carp between 16lb to 18lb and they have already put weight on over the summer.
